Mary Carroll High School

Funds went towards providing the class with a set of Sharpie Creative Acrylic Markers for over 200 students, enabling them to explore their creativity and engage in hands-on learning.  This initiative aims to enhance artistic expression while integrating STEM concepts, fostering critical thinking and collaboration among peers.

Club Estates Elementary School

FOCUS funds were used towards revitalizing its library collection with a focus on enriching literature tailored to our student's interests and educatioinal needs.

Rose Shaw Elementary School

FOCUS funds were used for Science class supplies to be hands-on such as lab equipment, safety gear, and consumable materials to fully engage the students in interactive learning experiences to foster thinking and problem-solving skills.

Rafael Galvan Elementary School

Funds went towards funding an addition of new, relevant, up-to-date books in both languages to assist new citizens acquire English while fostering their improvement in their native language.  Also to foster a love for reaching, increase student vocabulary and content knowledge, and build stamina by providing wider reading opportunities at the appropriate reading levels for all bilingual and monolingual students.

Sterling B. Martin Middle School

Funds went towards acquiring sensory tools and equpment to create a 'Sensory Corner' in the school library.  The more comfortable a student is the learning can effectively take place.  Items include weighted stuffed animals, texture wall supplies, a white noise machine, bubble lamps, and an assortment of sensory toys.

Elliott Grant Middle School

Funds were used to acquire the RODEcaster Pro II, an all-in-one production audio interface designed specifically for podcasting.  Students will gain access to multi-channel recording, enabling podcasters and up to three guests to create compelling and impactful content.

Tennis Success

The funds were used to obtain some STEM materials to promote curiosity in the students and guide them towards creating an interest and creativity in robotics.   The students will create their own robots using different purchased kits or items for building a working robot.

Funds also to go to the after school program so that they may continue to provide STEM activities and projects during after school project to allow students to continue with a “hands on” experience.
